Mountain Vista Governor's School Foundation Information

The purpose of The Mountain Vista Governor's School Foundation is to advance the interests and programs of the Mountain Vista Governor's School which is a regional public school serving multiple school divisions and whose classes are currently held on the Middletown and Warrenton campuses of the Lord Fairfax Community College. The Foundation's primary purpose will be to promote, assist, and encourage the educational efforts of the school. The Foundation will seek to raise funds from individuals, businesses, and other institutions and will use those funds to benefit the school, including, but not limited to its buildings and grounds, its educational and extracurricular programs, its equipment, and its student and faculty activities.

  • Give Local Piedmont - Each year the MVGS Foundation participates in Give Local Piedmont, a community on-line fund raising event held in May. Follow this link for more information: Give Local Piedmont.

  • Chili Cook-off and Trivia Contest - This fun event encourages friendly competition of your favorite chili recipe and your trivia knowledge. Since the trivia contest is by table, start creating your team for this year's event. The date of the 2017-18 event will be Saturday October 14, 2017 6:00-9:30 PM at Fauquier High School in Warrenton, VA.

  • ShrimpFest - Each year the MVGS Foundation hosts a ShrimFest to thank supporters.
