MVGS Foundation

The purpose of the Mountain Vista Governor's School Foundation is to advance the interests and programs of Mountain Vista Governor's School, a regional public high school that serves multiple school divisions and is housed on the Middletown and Warrenton campuses of the Lord Fairfax Community College. The Foundation's primary purpose is to promote, assist, and encourage the educational efforts of the school. The Foundation seeks to raise funds from individuals, businesses, and other institutions and will use those funds to benefit the school's educational and co-curricular programs, equipment, student and faculty activities, and capital improvements.

Shrimp Fest

Join the MVGS family each spring for a celebration of the happenings at MVGS this past year. There will be student exhibitions, fun times, and amazing food for all. For more information and to purchase tickets, click on the link below or contact the school office.

Give Local Piedmont

Each year the MVGS Foundation participates in Give Local Piedmont, a community fund raising event held on the first Tuesday of May. In 2020 the Foundation raised almost $7000. Donations for 2021 must be made BEFORE 11:00 AM on May 4th. Click on the button below to find out more information.


Chili Cook-off and Trivia Contest

This fun event encourages friendly competition of your favorite chili recipe and your trivia knowledge. Since the trivia contest is by table, start creating your team for this year's event. The Chili Cook-off/Trivia Night is held each October at Fauquier High School in Warrenton, VA.
