February 19, 2010 - SVC Revenue Report - After SVC employees finally returned to work after the epic Snowmageddon storm disrupted life in Northern Virginia, revenue and tax figures have finally been calculated and posted to corporate accounts. This month results of the drawing as well as a report of all tabulations per corporation can be download (Download February Revenue and Tax Report - note all calculations are based upon a pre-assessment valuation of corporations and may vary from actual assessed values.)

January 15, 2010 - Government Bail-out Funds Deposited - The 4 million WID government bail-out package was dispersed into SVC corporate accounts today. Per the directions of the Senate panel, the funds were divided equally between the two campuses and then distributed to SVC corporations based upon merit as displayed in security rating, lobbying, and presentation before the Senate panel. January 15, 2010 - SVC Revenue Report - SVC member corporations received monthly revenue pay-outs today. Revenue steps and tax rates were determined according to procedures outlined in the SVC Articles of Incorporation. Corporations operating in the technology sector were the big winners this month with a salary step adjustment of +5 and an extremely low tax rate of 20%. Well done technology companies. You bring great wealth to the Conglomerate. The chance card drawing was held this month at the MVGS retreat center in Trinity College, Cambridge in honor of the recent birthday of Sir Isaac Newton. The drawing required a great deal of force to happen since the inertia of the SVC committee was difficult to overcome--hence the one day delay in revenue and tax day. This month results of the drawing as well as a report of all tabulations per corporation can be download (Download January Revenue and Tax Report - note all calculations are based upon a pre-assessment valuation of corporations and may vary from actual assessed values.)
